An enthusiastic and compassionate Ophthalmologist with +10 years experience in providing comprehensive ophthalmic care services. Dr Lausanne is highly skilled in diagnosing and treating a range of eye diseases and conditions such as cataract, paediatric eye diseases, squints, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye disease and other eye disorders.

Dr Lausanne obtained her medical degree MBBS from Manipal University, India. She pursued further specialisation in ophthalmology, undertaking various subspeciality training attachments at Sarawak General Hospital and University Malaya. This combination of practical experience and academic training culminated in her earning a Master of Ophthalmology from UM and a board certified Ophthalmologist in Malaysia.

Since 2018, Dr Lausanne has been practising as a general ophthalmologist at Sarawak General Hospital, where she continues to provide high-quality care to her patients with special interest in complicated cataract and refractive surgeries, paediatric eye diseases and squint surgeries. Dr Lausanne is also actively involved in outreach cataract programs to combat cataract blindness in Malaysia and become one of the lead surgeon to provide and perform high volume cataract surgeries (KK-KKM) in the rural district of Sarawak. In 2023, she began serving as a sessional lecturer at University Malaysia Sarawak and trainer for National Postgraduate Medical Curriculum, Ophthalmology chapter Malaysia, where she imparts her knowledge and experience to future generation of medical professionals.
